● MDs/ Psychiatrists/ Therapists must inform recipients of short term and long term side effects of medications, prior to prescribing them

● Depending on cultural background, medication side effects may differ

● Individuals should be informed of all treatment options, including alternatives to clinical treatment (e.g., holistic treatment, peer support services, etc.)
